Egypt Coffee Festival, Egypt’s biggest coffee festival, returns for its
second edition on October 16 and 17, 2026, at District 5 by Marakez, bringing together coffee
enthusiasts, industry professionals, and lifestyle communities for two days of experiences,
competitions, entertainment, and discovery.
Following its debut in 2025, the festival returns with an expanded programme exploring the connections
between coffee, craftsmanship, food, design, business, and community.
Expected to welcome approximately 6,000 visitors, the upcoming edition will feature more than 35
coffee brands, roasters, and exhibitors, alongside international speakers, creating a space for both
industry professionals and the wider public to connect and experience Egypt’s evolving coffee culture.
The festival’s programme will bring together local and international industry voices, including Aleksa
Novicic from La Cimbali Group, Antonio Oria from Victoria Arduino, Ali Khattab, Founder of Reqaf,
Hussein Bahgat, Founder of Ritual, Marwan El Beheiry, Founder of Fika Specialty, Engy Radwan, F&B
Consultant at Everything Restaurants, and Mai Tag Eldien, CEO of TAGmenta, among others.
The second edition will expand across six experiential grounds covering Coffee & Craft, Food &
Beverage, Design & Lifestyle, Education & Knowledge, Business & Industry, and Community &
Entertainment, offering visitors opportunities to discover different aspects of coffee culture.
“One of the things I love most about coffee is how it brings people together naturally. There’s an entire
culture around it that’s creative, social, and genuinely fun. With the second edition of Egypt Coffee
Festival, we want to celebrate that side of the industry and create a space where people can discover
new experiences, meet the people behind their favourite brands, and connect over something we all
love,” said Hanan Abdel Meguid, Co-Founder of Egypt Coffee Festival and CEO of Kamelizer
Spaces.
Visitors can also look forward to two barista competitions: the Home Barista Competition, organized
by The Community Bundle, and “Crush the Rush,” presented by La Marzocco. Both competitions will
spotlight the skills, creativity, and craftsmanship involved in coffee preparation while celebrating the
people behind the cup.
Beyond coffee in the traditional sense, the festival will feature food and beverage tastings, giveaways,
and interactive brand activations, including experiences by The Skin Care Addict by The Hair Addict in
collaboration with Indulge, and Samir & Aly. The programme will also include a community morning run organized by Run Qairo on Saturday,
October 17, at 10 AM around District 5, alongside music and entertainment experiences throughout the
festival.
The second edition is supported by main partners La Marzocco, Coffee Atelier, and Mediterraneo,
alongside EEFVG (La Cimbali) as Hospitality Partner, Alpro as Alternative Milk Partner, Kamelizer
Co-Coffee as Community and Activation Partner, 2ool Ameme as Gaming Partner, and E11ven as
Afterparty and Music Partner.
The festival will also feature a dedicated Roasters Village, bringing together coffee brands and
exhibitors, including BrownNose, Entro, Ritual, Regular Coffee, Nescafé, Okka, CupPack, Global
Beans, Seelaz, and Archers, among others.
Through its expanded programme, Egypt Coffee Festival aims to bring together the people and
businesses shaping Egypt’s coffee industry, encourage knowledge sharing, and create opportunities for
collaboration while introducing a wider audience to the culture and experiences surrounding coffee.
Egypt Coffee Festival Volume 2 will take place at District 5 by Marakez on Friday, October 16,
from 2 PM to 8 PM, and Saturday, October 17, from 9 AM to 9 PM.
