IE University, a leading international higher education institution founded in 1973 in Madrid, Spain, has announced a strategic partnership with EFG Holding, a leading financial institution with a universal bank in Egypt and the leading Investment Bank in MENA, to advance talent development, innovation, and knowledge exchange across the region.
The partnership reflects a shared commitment to investing in people and creating stronger connections between business and academia. Through IE University’s global academic ecosystem and the IE Center for Leadership and Innovation in the Middle East, based in Riyadh’s Creative District, the collaboration will bring together EFG Holding’s regional leadership and IE’s international community of students, alumni, academics, and entrepreneurs to create new opportunities for talent development, innovation, and research.
Through the agreement, IE University and EFG Holding will develop initiatives across several areas of collaboration. These include opportunities for EFG Holding to develop education and training initiatives aligned with the company’s needs, connect with talent across IE University’s global network of more than 60,000 alumni and collaboration on corporate innovation projects drawing on IE University’s academic expertise, entrepreneurial ecosystem, and student talent. The partnership will also explore opportunities for applied research.
